It kind of works for XP some fairly major buffer overrun issues though resuting in blocks of unwanted colour if you scan in pics of any great sizeresolution. Plustek's statement is This model were developed and crafted years ago under the platform of the technology then. Therefore this model will not support Windows XP System. Also a problem with the recognition of the scanner under XP However the scanner does become visible via TWAIN try installing GIMP web search and the scanner becomes useablewithin the bounds of the above comments. I couldn't get the add scanner in control panel to view it... but the TWAIN interface works in a fashion.Tested and found to work fine on WIn 95 Win 98 and 2000.

I tried installing driver. It asked for drivers from win 98 cd. Computer wouldn't find driver off cd. I finally gave up and tried another card.

Same as David. I don't have the original installation CD. It appears that this is only an update and doesn't include everything I need to reinstall my sound card.

Tried several different sound device drivers but this one was the best amp had all tht I needed. great download amp files are all there. Works great. very satisfied. Will recommend this file to anyone who needs it. Works well on sound card cmi8738pcisx chipset.

Thank you for posting this driver it resolved display adapter issue wo any problems. I advise anyone who reformatted there hd and have a 1200 notebook to stop looking and download this driver.
