I found some important info on getting the scanner to work with XP at the following sitehttpsupport.Asrock.co.uktechnoteswinxp6400.htmI used the driver suggested here but I did have to follow the instructions at the URL above before it worked. In the inf directory on my system the file happened to be oem15.inf. I removed it and chose 'reinstall driver' as suggested. During that process I manually installed the driver from the disk2 folder where i extracted the driver from this site. Even the copy utility works

Works in XP took a long time to find a working driver. Just put in the number off the Ambient chip on the physical into the search and up this came. Thanks for the post and thanks for the fax capabilities without having to buy a new modem
