Driver works fine with a Compaq Presario 1800 Model 18XL580 even though it is specified as being for a Compaq Presario 16XX.

Hope this works or I will have to swap modem on this machine. I have just reinstalled windows98 and Office97 so it's clean of everything else. It didn't recognize the modem even though I tried all drivers provided for Aztech modems. This on wasn't on the list though. My guess is that it will work better with the proper drivers.... Thanks.

When unzipping the needed file I could not get it into a .BIN. It repeatedly unzipped as a picture image file. Obviously AFLASH could not open or use it this way. I could not update the BIOS.
