I'm cheap. I wanted a USB cable for my Kyocera 2325 and didn't want to shell out 30 to get the Verizon Wireless Data Kit. Instead I found something comparable for 0.99 on eBay. quotGreatquot I thought quotNow I can use my phone for data calls AND save a lot of cashquot But alas when it came I was sorely disappointed. The cable was made by some offbrand who had ever heard of Prolific the driver CD was mostly worthless and there was no technical support to speak of from my reseller. I began my search for suitable drivers.I tried Kyocera's website. I tried Verizon's website. I tried Prolific's website. I even tried eforcity's website. No place had the drivers that would work the blanking cable. But BEHOLD This driver worked like a dream. In fact it appears to the ONLY set of drivers that works for my particular cable.If you've got a nondescript cable which XP only recognizes as quotusb data cablequot believe me this is probably the only driver you will find that works.One caveat I had to look elsewhere for the Kyocera HighSpeed CDMA Wireless Modem driver which I needed to interface with the phone. That turned out to give me the most problems. It took a long time for me to realize that the wireless modem driver needed to be installed as a modem and that XP wouldn't prompt me to install it. After figuring that out though it's been smooth sailing ever since.Jeff thank you for putting this driver online. You saved me from spending 30 for the geniune kit. ...Well at least you saved me another 0.99.

Thanks alot Ed I had been using a generic driver for some time now since I misplaced or lost the old disk and what an improvement I read some negative comments of some of those who tried downloading the PB driver. To those users Please read the instructions When the driver was 1st made it was originally for Windows 3.x. I remember the driver was updated when Windows 9598 came around. Please note that 1401S is now driver PB8528SVG it should appear in the listing after you execute pbmon.exe.Once PB8528SVG is designated it should work in 3 modes 640 x 480 800 x 600 1024 x 768.
