This driver seems to make no difference with the DVD drive i have. The drive does not read CDs or DVDs and it is been detected in windows as a CDRom driveAtapi 12X DVD drive.

Loaded after Unzipping and tried test page. Printed garbage but I think that is because it is a kpdl driver and I may need a PCL driveror I have some other problem with the PC Otherwise driver seems all ok.

This driver is not for windows 9598. It is for windows NT and it can be also used on windows 2000.There are no driver updates for this drive

old Pentium 166MHz system with Windows 98 on hard driver. friend wanted to install new hard drive video card driver researched and has performed faultless so far. Device manager recognized this driver. Highly recomend download to harddrive and then open and reboot system to activate.

Works just fine with XP Pro volume and all. Does not create a program group so you must go into Control Panel to access settings. Requires reboot after install.

I forgot to say it is best to run the setup.exe with the current modem drivers removed systemdevice manager then restart the computer. When you restart windows will see new hardware and use the driver you just installed without any further interaction.Haven't tried it yet.

Didn't install with Win 2000 Datacenter Server. The INF file probably in the NT directory format was not as Win2k expected.
