hey guyzpretty good for your notebook if dont u have CDThis driver did not work with my 'Sony PCGF630' Notebook Computer as I am using 'Windows 2000'. I found the correct one on the 'ESSTECH' web site. I have posted the file that I obtained here on 'DriverGuide.Com'. It should be listed under 'Other Devices' I think since it supplies both the Audio and Modem Driver. Without this set of drivers I could get the Audio to work but not the modem. The modem would show up as a 'PCI Simple Communications Controller' which would not operate. If you want to go to the ESS web site and obtain the file yourself the URL is 'httpwww.esstech.comtechsuppfaqidentify.shtm'.You will need to read the documentation and then goto the download section. The correct file is a 'Maestro3.comm ES1980 Maestro3 Audio ES56CVMPI Modem'. There are also versions for 'Windows 9598 Windows 98SE Windows ME and Windows NT4.0 on the same web site.

Had EXTREME problem finding driver to Onboard LAN NIC on Motherboard ASUS A7N8XX. It took me 3 days amp about 4 hours effective time till I found out that the driver I needed RealtekRTL8201BL was in this package for the nForce mainboard. Also it provided driver for the SMbus....Thanks Driverguide

Works well on Sony VAIO PCVRX860 P4 2.4GHz with Windows 2000. Other advertised drivers would not install.Install went smooth as described on the page www2.OOKZ.comuploadsuploads1214151.htmlP.S. Could not find this on standard search on OOKZ.com found it through link on google.
