I tried to install the driver with the included instuctions but was unsuccessful. Here is how I installed the driver successfully 1. First install the scanner CD Version 3.75 rev.1 included for Umax Astra 3450. 2. Copy and paste VS375U.exe and the VS375U382upd into the C VSTASCAN directory. 3. Double click and run the VS375U.exe first amp run the VSSetup in Disk 1.4. Then run VS375U382UPD.5. Right click 'My Computer'and click on Prpperties. Click on Hardware amp then on Device Manager. Scroll to IMAGING DEVICE. Double click on imaging device and you should see the scanner. Right click on the scanner name and click 'UPDATE DRIVER'. Now pick INSTALL FROM A LIST then NEXT now pick DON'T SEARCH andthen NEXT Highlight the USB Scanner and don't worry about it not being signed and continue with the install...reboot and it should work fine.
