Text included with this driver plainly states it is for DOS and Win 3.x. I need an appropriate driver for Win 98SE I have wasted time attemting to install an inappropriate driver. Please correct the desctription it is not designed for W95 or W98.First comment about incorrect description is Feb 2001. It has been wrong for nearly TWO years one MONTH after original submission. Why the delay

I've had far fewer problems with this driver than the others I've downloaded except Netgear. The SMC driver and wifi card has been a pain in the neck.

As an avid computer fixer i found this driver the hardest to come by. I contacted EMachines for the specs for my 566i and they told me that it was a cs 4281 or something. Turns out it was a 4299 and this driver works for it. Check the chip inside your computer Thanks very much
