This driver didn't work with the modem I am trying to upgrade. It is an agere pci soft modem that came in a computer that I got from a guy free and altho the winxp upgrade went will I can't get windows to recognize the modem.

I could not get this driver to work.My guess is that maybe you can only use this driver if you have your CPQ software utilities still on your hard drive and active like foxbyte says below.But guess what I went to the Compaq website and got ALL the drivers I need for my Compaq Presario audio display modem etc etc.They ALL worked greatGo to www29.Via Technologies.comfalcosplist.aspYou can also order a CD from Compaq and receive by mail ALL the Presario drivers you need on one CD. This definitely restored a little faith in Compaq for meTom happy to have a working computer again

These midi waveset files are missing from the install maybe you can find them i didn't bother searching... seems to work OK thougheapci2m.ecweapci4m.ecweapci8m.ecwdo go to that immatrix.com sit tho
