Unfortunately this driver does not work on my etower766id. After the installation the device manager showed the HW as Crystal WDM Audio Codec without any problem but under Multimedia Audio no device is selectable. After all the hassel no sound at all. Guess it's faster to buy a cheap sound card then to find another driver. The eMachine Restore CD is a joke and the support a real mess.

I have a PB 3020 17 Inch Monitor. Downlaoded this driver to my HD. Executed the program which automatically formatted and installed update files. After which I rebotted my system to the floppy drive and it added my missing driver to the Windows 98 drivers directory. I then rebooted to Windows 98 and right clicked on the desktop. I selected PROPERTIES which took me to the monitor setup. I selected SETTINGS then MONITOR then CHANGE then checked the box for showing all hardware. I scrolled down to Packard Bell and when I looked at the listing I found my PB 3020 listed. I selected it and it automatically updated my settings without having to reboot. Pretty simple huh By the way my PB 3020 is not hooked to a PB computer it is hooked to a 533MHz Book PC with an Intel Video Driver. Hope this helps someone. If it worked for my PB3020 it should work for any other PB monitor.
