This worked for me Downloaded both disks unzipped the files to the same directory. Installed the card. Pointed Windows to my unzippedfiles directory when it asked for drivers. using Windows 98 SE.

I downloaded this driver for my Japanese scanner when I upgraded my Japanese Win98SE OS to an English Win 2k OS. Scanner was not working no driver. Downloaded this replaced Japanese language drivers with their English equivalents and according to my Device Manager now the scanner is functioning properly. I am going to go try it out see if I agree. Thanks for posting the driver
