Hello anyoneI am trying to get this soundcard sorted for a young pupil. I have followed the instructions in the ReadMe file but don't know where to go from there. Also puzzled because ReadMe says it is an update driver. Don't have anything so nothing to update. Have tried all combinations of AWE stuff with no luck. Any help appreciated. Thanks

The ASUS P5A driver suite was a tad complicated on my P5AB's. Running XPPro and 2KPro the suite installs through one executable program. The OS recognized the new IDE Bus Master driver but Windows' Device Manager always found the device IDE Bus Master loaded with a bad driver. Deinstalled the IDE Bus Master driver and reinstalled it manually with same result. Elected to reload fresh image and unzip the executable and install the mobo's updated device drivers separately AGP and ACPI while omitting the Bus Master. Works fine now just no updated IDE driver.
