well i dont know if i got any virus because i didnt check it but my scanner works now. i had two diskettes to install the scanner but during the process of installation they would ask me for a cdrom.....There is NO cdrom. Anyway now my scanner works. Thats great

First I had to download WinRAR just to be able to unzip it... then it turns out it only consists of an .inf and another file and no .dll's no nothing else... it's an incomplete solution.Primero tuve que bajar WinRAR para poder abrirlo... solo para descubrir que nicamente consita de dos archivos... un .inf y otro ms y ningn .dll ni ms nada... una solucin incompleta

There is no Twain driver in this file. The Scangear can't fully function without the twain for the scanner.

I was not able to install it under XP. I clicked Add in the PhonesModems applet clicked Have Disk and pointed to the floppy on which I put the expanded files. Windows looked at the disk for a moment and returned to the previous screen with no modems displayed.
