Great stuff Thanks Jerry I'd obtained a board second hand and all I knew was it had Model CT4810 stamped on it with CT5880 DCQ on the chip.When I loaded this I got stuck at 18 as well. I then tried it by adding thru control panel renstalling the device driver and pointing at the only .inf that comes in the zip. This worked to a point whereupon it required EAPCI2M.ECW which was not there. I downloaded it into the directory that I'd unzipped into getting it via this link ftp.europe.creative.compubcreativedriverssbpciensoniqwavesetsEapci2m.ecwYou will also need EAPCI4M.ECW EAPCI8M.ECW . They are 2 4 8 Mb in size hence the names I suppose.The installation then finished and all was wellIf you get these ECW files before using the supplied set up perhaps that will not stick at 18.

Download was goodinstalled easy did'nt have to do anything just opened it updisplay is excellent on 17inch emachines monitor at800600 resolution. many thanks

Installation program failed The Program gives an error stating Bitmap file for FastSplash not found and then quits. Cannot install manually According to the .reg file not all of the driver files are present. If the person who posted this wishes he can contact me through WahlverineYahoo.com and find someway to copy the files to my system so I can determine exactly which files are needed Use it on Win98 Win2000 XP and 2003Server for the last month with no problems.

I have been unable to get the driver for the KXP1624 to work. I don't understand the instructions that were included. I'm totally unfamiliar with DOS. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. Is there another location where I can easily unload this driver for use with WIN98

we tried this on a modem with a chip with quotRH56DPCI' and a paper label with quotmodel F1156IVR9quot. Either this driver or the quotHewlett Packard Hpf1156.zipquot screwed up our system. the modem eventually showed up as quotconexant HCF V90 56K DataFax PCIquot in quotsystemsquot with a separately loaded and listed quotenumeratorquot. the driver quotconxt.ZIPquot works perfectly thankx DriverGuide
