It could be that second self extractor could be damaged or possibly it is my own screwup. Either way the first self extractor is all that is necessary for basic operation and it works just fine.

TraciMay God richly bless you I had two printers on my desk for nearly a year the LJ3100 for faxes and a LJ 1100 for printing. It is outrageous that the pathetic HP have been allowed to charge for an update to one of their drivers. I refused to pay in principle. Once again many many thanks.

It didn't work for Win2000 Server. Exe automatically extracts to C drive regardless of OS location.

This driver hung my system during install on a fresh clean XP SP2 installation. I was able to successfully install the driver in safe mode but when I rebooted into normal operation any attempt to access the modem hung the system.

yes it is an inf file....it is not an exe. you have to open yor display dialog go to monitor drivers and use the path to this file as the new driver location. windows uses the inf as a driver list. just find your monitor on the list and your done.

Works great for Windows 95 but I found it wasn't needed for Windows 98 and above I had several of these boards and 98 handles it great I think if one was to install it for 98 where no errors were showing then you will probably have those problems that Ben had But he may have done it for another reason as well
