it worked out just great with xp pro the xp auto detect and install for the driver as the manufaturer said didnt worked i tried sp1 and then sp2 and yet didnt worked out but the driver i got from here quotthis driverquot worked greatlythanksJohnny

Tried to install on Win98 and install wizard requested further updates to my system. Didnt want or need to do that so used next driver from driver list and it went flawlessly.

Your work great.I also found drivers for this modem at www.usr.comsupportsmodemsmodemoemdownloads.aspVery important note U.S.Robotics only uses the four last numbers of reference. In this case they use 3098OEM. That way we couldn't find USR803098OEM.Thanks again.RegardsJoo Ferreira
