new Ess Technologies drivers didn't work with my Riva. They didn't even want to install saying that there is no NVidia chipset on graphic card. This on works

the drivers are crap the winzip wont open the files to start the driver and you cant figure out which one you need to use to start the setup of the driver

These files are incomplete. During installation the Add Printer dialog boxes asked for a variety of files not included here and the installation failed.

It works under Windows 98SE but not better than the driver 98 installs by default. 98's driver let me choose 32bit color but only under 800 x 600. This driver entered the 32bit mode again only in 800 x 600 but would not allow me to click quotOKquot to keep the driver. It would timeout and go back to 16 bit. However 16bit color worked just fine with both drivers and would allow 1024 x 768. 98's driver is dated 1999 and this one is dated 1996. I appreciate the upload though. Thank you
