Ok look. This driver WILL NOT WORK on any 2000Me or later Windows systems. Only 98 and below. Sorry if this ticks all of you off but that's just what they did.

For anyone unfortunate enough to have ME as their OS this driver worked for us when no others I found would.

Information taken from the High Rise Modem was quotep9001gquot so I tried this recomended driver but It would not accept it.WinXP saw this modem as a Smart Link Voice Modem and installed its own set that seems to work fine.Not sure why quotep9001gquot label misinforms or isn't compatable.

Hello anyoneI am trying to get this soundcard sorted for a young pupil. I have followed the instructions in the ReadMe file but don't know where to go from there. Also puzzled because ReadMe says it is an update driver. Don't have anything so nothing to update. Have tried all combinations of AWE stuff with no luck. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Waste of time. First off it doesn't have the EXTREMELY IMPORTANT .vxd file to get your sound card working next it's not even the correct model drivers attached to this thing if you want to waste your time look for yourself. If someone CAN get this thing to work on their ES1869F model sound card let me know.

No me funcion el driver en WIN98 solo el test que hace a la tarjeta ese si funciona pero cuando abro el instalador me dice 'You must to exit Microsoft Windows to run this Program' quisiera que me ayudaran con este driver mi pc es una Packard Bell Leyend 815CDT gracias......

Thats it I searched the web for a long time to find a driver for the AN983 for WinNT 4.0. Not even Infinion who took over ADMTek have a driver for download... but OOKZ.com has one FIrst I couldnt believe it but after installing I can only say Excellent
