Problem solved If you get a blank screen after installing this restart in safe mode run msconfig from the run menu. Select the advanced tab and check the box to force 640x480x16 colors. Then restart the machine normally go into your display options and set them up. Then go back into msconfig and clear the checkbox. Machine should work.

WOW...6 hours later I finally have a working monitor thanks to windrivers.com I was trying to find the right monitor driver and the problem was the video adapter all along SIS530.drv located on windrivers.com Installation was a little tricky...unzip the files in a temp directory and force WIN ME to look for it in that directory.Thanks

Works perfect with quotWindows MEquot. You cannot install using the hardware wizard. You must run the quot990enuquot application. It installs a very fancy print management program that resembles a FLASH presentation. The 990cxi installs automatically under XP with included basic drivers.

To start with guys this is the cheapest modem you can buy at this time. So for a lot of you who purchased it seperatly and not with a sytem it serves you right. Buy a better brand of modem guys. Another little note to all the people begging for drivers. If you are looking for a driver you have to actually pull the hardware out of your machines and look up the correct model or FCC ID . I don't mind helping anyone find a driver but there is no way you will find the correct driver by saying I have a PCI Rockwell 56k modem Come on guys do some homework check out the model numbers or FCC and search using those numbers instead of just Conexant or something like that..

This driver is great with Win 98. I have the original driver thar came with the scanner but it stopped working. This driver adds features that are not on the original driver.Thanks a lot.
