For any who does not know what is this this is a RAR file a compressed file similar to ZIP files. It ca be decompressed with WinRar among others.I had problems with games quotBattlefieldquot quotVietcongquot quotTomb Raider AODquot and quotMafiaquot the sound speeds up or down in these games. The problem is related to Hardware 3D sound. This driver fixed it for my Windows XP Thanks a lotNote 1 If you have the same problem but this driver does not work for you another way to fix it is the following execute dxdiag.exe go to Sound tab and set Handware Acceleration to None. Sound speed will be correct but is a bit delayed and some glitches are heard sometimes.Note 2 This driver adds a quotSound Managerquot to the system tray. If you don't want it execute msconfig.exe go to Start tab and uncheck quotsoundmanquot.Thanks a lot again
