This driver is Zipped so extract to a new folder and install from there... Otherwise the driver installed like a dream amp worked 1st time. PB850 motherbourd Cyrix II running Win98se

tried to find drivers from creative but they no longer provide them. how are they getting away with this they stated in the original documentation they would provide driver downloads.

Install was a snap. Configuration was a snap. However modem wouldn't work even after switching pci slots. Driver seems fine I suspect the modem itself is damaged maybe by static discharge.

This driver did not fix my problem. Everytime I power on my two USB devices I get fatal error 'An exception OE has occurred at 0028 FF037D93 in VxD.' I can find no evidence that this host controller works with Win 98. Looks like a addon board may be required if USB is to ever work in my 10 month old Dell.

NOTE use the driver in the Win9x folder for Win ME once i worked that out it installed fine. I used the Win2000 drivers amp it appeared to install but gave an error when interrogating the modem of quotcorrupt driver please remove amp reinstallquot
