Did the searching for Orinoco driver missed that it was for WinXP so spent some time with a useless driver. The win98 does exist.

Thenks in advanceddriver did not solve the problem of modem quotloosingquot the dial tone once initialized. It could not dial because it seemed to loose the signal from the phone line

Thank you. I have found the PC Chips site average and slow and I'm not too keen on the Motherboard. I'm trying to repair a friends system and the manual is a good start. I have from a Video driver and now just need a Sound driver I hate onboard stuff. Thanks again you have saved another motherboard from the dump for a little while
