WORKED REAL WELL. NO PROBLEM. THANKSTotally stupid there is no install software on this files only some datafiles. The program that installs and put thise files is not there. Unbelivable stupid....

This driver is NOT specifically for the Copaq PSB220A modem. The file contains a number of drivers by US Robotics for their sportster range.I havn't tried theem all so maybe one of them does actually work with the Compaq PSB220A.Its a shame that compaq cant get their fingers out and acually supply their own drivers... Fools.

After jumping all around usr.com it dawned on me that PriorityOne might be a good resource. I had help getting your mdm3com.inf file pasted to notepad then downloaded. Then I later went back to USR to look up manual info. Found FAQ's helpful. Eg IRQ 4 not a good choice etc.I set my jumpers thusly compnp and IRQ7. With your driver to diskette I was able to load up and BINGO It worked Windows set com3 IRQ5..so I moved the IRQ TO 5. Success Thank you and I hope this helps others with a USR SPORTSTER 33.6K MODEM.
