Excellent. When I clicked Update Driver in Hardward wizard It picked up only the files needed for XP My Realtek Lan card did get better.

PCChips should make fastfoods instead of this pathetic motherboards which requires constant driver updates that you'll never get this year in its site.Yep it worked. Thanks OOKZ.

This Driver pretty much installed itself from loading of the CD. I had to later manually explore the CD files locate through intuition and luck I guess the files for installation of the Wave Driver. However all of it worked very well and it was quick. I definitely recommend the CT4780 Driver for Windows 98 ONLY. I have multiple systems including those with WINME and WINXPSP2 and sblw9xup.exe is suitable for only WIN98. Good job Creative Labs

I tried this driver 3 TIMES and each time it tells you how to install it. I did it by the book and 3 times it deleted my Windows Explorer. No more Windows for me .I have a Packard Bell with the 82801AA AC '97 chipset with onboard sound but nocando for me. Onward to search for the driver that will really help me.
