It got me by. It was what I needed in a pinch to fax some things. I hate Conexant modems though. It is hard to find the right drivers without pulling out the card and getting the chipset number and even then it is hit and miss.

worked fine with my mb if you have a PVCLE266ML you would not have problems with this driver

I spent the best part of a day looking for the esar5001 drivers. Thanks.Of course if people would keep the disks that came with the boardcomputer it would have been a ten minute job to reinstall them.

This is just an .inf file. Didn't work on a 4112 Compaq.

loaded it.windows asked for reboot.system came up and restore video to more than 16 colors.and can now use resolution higher than 800 x 600

I've downloaded the SP9401.exe from the Compaq site but it gave me an error LaunchApp Error when executing. Looks like Compaq has joined with other companies that tailor their software to run on their hardware and theirs only
