This was one of the downloads that appearred when searching for a driver for the external Archos USB CDRW unit. I'm afraid that it does not do it for me at all.

Is there a version number associated with these files I already had version 5.12.1.124 dated 8302002 and this doesn't seem to be any newer.

It worked first time with my emachines 270 which had the Avance Logic Inc alc100pdb sound chip. Video drivers for the 270 were easier to locate on Avance Logic Inc.com just look for 845G chipset or win2kxp14103.exe

This version of MiraScan has the same problem as all other versions I have tried so far. It does not work with another TWAINdevice on the same system. I tried it on 3 machines On the other hand the program is easy to use and has all features you want to have in a scanner driver.
