The Dn thing worked Wohoo if ya got a dell and you go with a clean xp install remember to select this driver manually have disk feature it will save alot of headaches

The Compaq version of the driver is obviously different to ATI version cause it works whilst ATI's doesn't Compaq DeskPro

I also have same problem with LG DVDROM DRD8160B and the driver i downloaded here also says missing WNASPI32.dll.I would like to point out that LG are stupid and that the makers of this driver are idiots for not suplying the driver installer with nessesery files
