This didn't work for two older machines with win98. It may be a problem with the USB port except the digital camera works fine on those ports. Baffling.

gracias Jerry tard para encontrarlo pero finalmente me funciono ste y con la herramienta de seleccion de puerto COM amigable en objeto me fue posible que lo reconociera mi sistema W98 ya que no le estaba asignando ningun puerto por default... gracias nuevamente
