Thanks John It worked perfectly on a Presario 1200 12XL125. It was the last thing to fix for a freind that picked up a virus and ended up with a repartitioned hard drive. Compaq's restore disk is a friggin joke. You da man..........JRH

This got my modem working. I have an HP Pavilion and I also had to install the riptide audio controller drivers in addition to installing these. the drivers I downloaded from the HP site didn't work.It's an excellent driver. It works for me.

I have the exact same modem and I downloaded the zip file that is posted. When I installed modem it says CANNOT READ PORT NAME FROM REGISTRY. I am not sure of what's going on...any suggestionsvery good
