I am at the public library. the library had disabled my access to the hard drive perhaps because so many people download stuff there. I only have access to the 3 12 floppy and therefore 1.44 MB of space. If I download your file it will cut off the end of it and I wont be able to use it. Please make it accessable to me in 3 separate disk downloads .thankyou

I was just about ready to toss this old OPTI 929 based soundcard in the trash because could not get this driver to work under Win98. Kept getting This driver does not match your hardware message. Then I decided to look in the .INF file for any clues to why it wasnt working. Right at the top of the file under Version is the line SignatureWindows 95As a last resort I edited this line to read SignatureChicago which is the sig line all my other Win98 drivers use. Then when I went to install it again using the procedure in the Readme.W95 file Wallah Works like a champ all the soundcard settings popped up in the install box like they were supposed to. The card works great now and I saved some that I can use for upgrading my CPU. If you are using this driver for Win98 try this it should work for you also. Jim Blaschke
