Virus alertI downloaded this file hoping it might be more recent than the one listed at Hitachi's web site because their website didn't appear up to date their latest manual was for model 5000. Anyway when I compared the two files to see if they were identical in dos I found that the one from this download site was 5k larger but has the same creation date as Hitachi's version. This either indicates it has a virus tagged on or it is corrupted. Go to WWW.Hitachi.com and download their file instead.Archie

Worked an absolute treat sorted the problem out straight away. Had problems at first installing from hard drive but persevered and like all problem resolvements I have difficulty backtracking from how I got there. Sorry coudn't have been of more assistance. Superb site. Keep up the good work.

I am looking for a bios flash for a Trident Microsystems 5wv270 The Compaq 5WV270 from the Presario 5000 desktop series doesn't have any intel chips that I know ofIt has an AMD I have been getting conflicting info as to either Athlon or Duron AMD Athlon socket 462 700MHz and up lt is haw it is described at the HP Site. I would imaging the rest work as well as I am assuming it is a unified driver. It is quite complete in it's configuration abilities though it has trouble seeing anytghin other than 16 40 or 192 megs of ram on the printer I have 40Very useful
