This was an attempted audio fix on a hp pavilion that was recently acquired with 2000 install. The driver did not work for this particular application despite the fact the driver was based on the OS and Intel chipset installed on the board. It was later discovered that a Freshload with Windows ME cured ALL problems. The wrong OS was culprit as this board was originally designed for ME. Go figure huh. I guess the moral of the story is make sure you know what you want first and assume nothing...

Thank youthank you for the updates to the nVidia drivers. I have been fighting a quirck in my system for the past 18 months which just would not load the correct drivers Because of the eyes going bad I prefer the 800x600 and 'Large Fonts' but just could not get it to hold in the system. On normal 'cold' boot if I CTlATLDel when getting the first 'Windows98' screen then the video would be ok. But if I didn't I had to go throught the entire process of reconfiguring the video. But your update worked perfectly Thanks again.

trying to put this driver on my grandaughter's computer so she can use her educational software I foolishly purchased the soundcard off ebay and didn't realise I needed a driver Her computer is not internet connected for safety reasons and I am trying to put this onto a disk floppy not big enough to load onto her computer it will not let me do it so I cannot rate the driver

Ok I am not sure if this worked but it told me to reboot i did it got rid of the exclamation mark on my Primary IDE controller but my D and E drives are not available i cannot see them nor can my comp recognize them.Somone help me
