Why does it say it is for windows 2000 when it is only for 9598. Best data says it won't even work with 2000 with no drivers planned for release

i downloaded it for windows 2000 server. but the os didn't recognize it.The zip file says lgscan but it installs something called compeye and a onepage user manual telling me to start up iPhoto. There is no iPhoto included. WinXP addremove software got rid of compeye. I'm giving up on LG Electronics 30A Scanworks.Very Good I recommended Thank you........

PLEASE disregard the last post I was able to revive my 3cce589et. The OS is an OEM install and is now getting quite flaky. I need to reinstall the OS soon but for now this driver is working fine. I repeat it works fine
