I found the answer. Go to httpconsumer.usa.Netcoretek.comircontrolleractDownloadSearchResultsActampkeywordCanoscanN67OUampSubmit.x39ampSubmit.y2 and install the utility toolbox for your system. This gets you the program you need if you don't have the original installation disc. Use the setup.exe in the Disk 1 folder and ignore the other 3 folders. Then use this driver to bring it all together....at least it did in Win XP Home Ed. I'm doing this as a favor for a friend. Just remember...no good deed goes unpunished

install worked as hoped for Presario 1400XL Laptop. just 2 clicks and a restart and NIC was installed Compaq 10100 miniPCI Ethernet NIC Installed on Win2k sp2 default install
